Accidents néant. » 1928 It is reported that during the third quarter of 1927 the weekly service between Teheran and Tabriz flew full to capacity (four passengers) on every flight. <Aviation Week 2 January 1928> 11 January 1928 The Persian press stated that the delay in the commencement of the exchange of aerial mails between Baku and Pahlevi is due to the fact that according to the terms of the agreement, the pilots of machines flying on this service are to be Russians, and the Junkers Company are finding it difficult to agree to this proposal. The resulting negotiations are stated to be the cause of the delay. Soon after take off, the pilot noticed a defect in the engine and turned back. After landing, and whilst taxying across the aerodrome the machine overturned. It suffered serious damage. The pilot escaped, but the mechanic suffered very serious injuries. The pilot blamed the mechanic for the accident. 2 February 1928
