1 February 1926 Russian Review reports: “This spring the Transcaucasian Aviation Department will open a new airplane line between Tiflis and the Persian city of Tabriz. The flying time for the trip will be five hours. At present the journey from Tiflis to Tabriz requires four to five days. The new line will be equipped with Junker and Dornier planes.
