5 Jan. 1927; delayed by storm. 6 Jan.1927; 0919 took off from Jask. 1258 Landed at Pasni. 1731 Landed at Drigh Road. On 7 January 1927 the flight continued to Jodhpur; and on 8 January 1927 the final destination was reached – Delhi Aerodrome. Some sources state that fifteen letters were carried on the flight from London to Delhi. They have a circular cachet AIR/27 DEC 1926/MINISTRY. However Champion (1930) states that ten official covers with the Air Ministry cachet were carried from London to Delhi, and 27 other covers were carried from Karachi to Delhi. Champion also states that 50 covers were carried from Karachi to London. Sir Samuel Hoare’s account of the flight is given in his book “India By Air” (1927). 5 January 1927 At Jask Sir Samuel Hoare met Stack and Leete who said that they would not risk starting their onward journey due to the adverse weather conditions. G-EBMX took off from Jask at 0904 local time. The Log states “Journey abandoned owing to dust storm which, whilst increasing in intensity, increased in area until finally its front extended from Hanjam, where gale force was reported, to eastwards of Karachi.” G-EBMX returned to Jask, landing at 0940.
