Duzdab was the terminus of the railway line from India. In 1929 Reza Shah changed the name of Duzdab to Zahedan. 1942 censored cover from Zahedan to England. 7 July 1924 A Junkers dual-control machine arrived in Teheran by road from Enzeli. Extract from Summary of News received by His Majesty’s Political Residency in the Persian Gulf: “AERIAL. The American World Fliers (Lieutenant Smith and others) who left Karachi at 6-10 A.M., on the 7th, arvived at Charbar at 7-50 AM. They left Charbar at 9-55 A.M., and reached Bandar Abbas at 2 P.M. The three machines left Bandar Abbas at 2-50 A.M. on the 8th, arrived at Bushire at 7 A.M. and left at 8-45 A.M. for Baghdad which they reached in the afternoon.
