The Prime Minister ordered the formation of a Special Committee to include the Minister of Public Works, the American Financial Advisor, the Director of Posts and Telegraphs, a representative of the Ministry of the Interior, and Junkers; to examine the question and make a proposal satisfactory to Junkers and the Government. The Special Committee approved proposals for the Teheran - Baku service, whereby the Government will pay a subsidy, to be repaid by Junkers from profits made after the establishment of other services in Persia. 24 February 1925 Two Junkers planes carrying passengers left Teheran for Ispahan and Bushire. The flight was partly an endeavour to secure public support for Junkers, and partly to reconnoitre the route. The Russian pilot Vasilchenko is instructing 3 Persian officers as pilots. 26 February 1925 “33. AERIAL. Air Vice-Marshall Sir W.Sefton Brancker, K.C.B., Director of Civil Aviation, and Mr. Cobham, on their return flight to England, arrived at Bushire on the 26th and left the next afternoon for Ahwaz, which they reached the same evening.
