Regarding the designated towns in Clause 7, Jarolimek told Sir Percy Loraine that intermediate landings to collect mail should be made at Kasvin on the Teheran-Enzeli flight; at Hamadan and Kermanshah on the Teheran-Quraitu flight; and at Kashan, Isfahan and Shiraz on the Teheran-Bushire flight. Jarolimek estimated that the minimum number of aircraft necessary to maintain the postal services would be seven, of which two would be in reserve. Jarolimek assured Sir Percy Loraine that Junkers had demanded no sort of monopoly and that he was personally unaware that mention of it was to be made in the Bill. He said that he would sign nothing until he had seen and satisfied Air Authorities in London with whom Junkers wished to work in cordial accord. The draft agreement had contained a clause permitting the Government to demand aircraft and personnel from Junkers in the event of war or local disturbance. This clause did not appear in the Bill.
